Americans have recently paid off big chunks of their credit card bills, and it seems as though this trend may continue. Banks are starting to lose revenue. This means that banks are searching for ways to actively increase your credit card maximum. The more you have and the more you spend, the more likely you will hold a balance, and thus have interest rates.
